Scope of RBPS NDT Services

RB Plant Services Sdn. Bhd. offers comprehensive NDT inspection services and our certified teams utilize the latest equipment and techniques to ensure accurate and reliable results for our clients nationwide. Trust RBPS for all your NDT needs.

Radiography Testing(RT)

Radiography Testing is a non-destructive testing (NDT) method of inspecting materials for hidden flaws by using the ability of short wave length electromagnetic radiation to penetrate various products such as valves, piping, weld etc.

Low Rad Radiography Testing (LORAD)

For LORAD Radiography Testing, the equipment setting is same as preparation for Radiography Testing (RT) conventional. For additional, weld or surface to be inspected will be wrapped with special Mats and also used special collimator to achieve the lowest safe distance.

Dye Penetrant Testing (DPI)

Dye Penetrant Inspection(DPI) is a Red Dye Solvent Removable Liquid Penetrant Examination methods for detecting discontinuities in condition for open surface of nonporous metal sand other materials. Normal defect usually detectable by this inspection are porosity, cracks, seam, laps and cold shuts.

Positive Material Identification (PMI)

Positive Material Identification(PMI) is an essential NDT method utilized to verify that supplied materials conform to the proper standards and specifications. As a result, assurance can be gained that the chemical makeup of the metallic parts has the correct percentage of key elements.

Magnetic Particle Testing (MPI)

Magnetic Particle Inspection is a testing process for detecting surface and shallow subsurface discontinuities in ferromagnetic materials such as iron, nickel, cobalt, and some of their alloys this process puts a magnetic field into the part.

Ultrasonic Testing Flaw Detection (UTFD)

Ultrasonic inspection can be used for flaw detection or evaluation, dimensional measurement, materials characterization etc.. UT consist of several functional units, such as the pulser/receiver, transducer, and display devices.

Ultrasonic Testing Thickness Measurement (UTTM)

is a non-destructive testing (NDT) method widely used in industries like oil and gas, manufacturing, and construction to determine the thickness of materials, particularly metals. The technique is valuable for detecting corrosion, erosion, or any material degradation without damaging the object being inspected

Hardness Testing (HT)

A hardness test is a method employed to measure the hardness of a material. Hardness refers to a material’s resistance to permanent indentation. There are numerous techniques to measure hardness and each of these tests can identify varying hardness values for a single material under testing

Vacuum Box Testing (VBT)

Vacuum box testing is a test method that is used to detect leaks. It is a practical way of testing in comparison to the quantitative measures used to examine objects. VBT an be used to test objects on wish a pressure differential can be created a cross the area to be examine The common application areas of VBT include piping systems, pressure vessel and storage tanks
